NOVEMBER RECOMMENDED: The San Diego Food + Wine Festival Is Finally Here

The wait is finally over. San Diego’s best party of the year (just ask USA Today) begins the month with a tasty cornucopia of sips and bites from the San Diego Food + Wine Festival. San Diego Food + Wine Festival

November 2-10

The top wine festival in the United States returns to Embarcadero Marina Park North, and other spots around town, for a week of food-and-beverage fun. This 20th anniversary fete has a list of events that includes the presentation and pouring of more than 800 wines, beers and spirits. More info.   

San Diego Coffee Festival

November 2 (Saturday)

Perk up as this party for coffee takes over Broadway Pier on North Harbor Drive, with more than two dozen coffee roasters. There will be two sessions for the day; separate tickets are required. More info. 

Free Pizza at Mr. Moto

November 4, 11,18, 25 (Mondays)

A “Moto Gone Crazy” campaign will see free pizzas given away on Mondays all month (provided you use the company’s app.) Downtown stores are located in Little Italy and Seaport Village. More info.

November 5 (Tuesday) 

Saints be praised, this is the last day we have to absorb hate-spewing political ads. If you haven’t already voted early, head to the polls today. More info.

November 9 (Saturday)

Sazerac’s Rooftop Takeover

Grand Fiesta 

November 10 (Sunday)

Veteran’s Day Parade

November 11 (Monday)

The annual parade honors members of the armed services, past and present. The route begins at the County Administration Building and proceeds south down Harbor Drive. More info.

Veteran’s Day at Liberty Station

Liberty Station is a living and breathing memorial of military history, including the Life of an NTC Recruit exhibit and the USS Recruit Exhibit. More info.

World Design Policy Conference

November 12-13 (Tuesday-Wednesday)

This conference has a “Beyond Boundaries” theme and aims to focus on design-centric problem solving, held at IQHQ’s barely unpacked Research and Development District (RADD). More info.
