There’s a new breakfast spot in downtown San Diego’s East Village.
I love supporting family businesses and this one is named after the owner’s daughter, Alessie.
Cafe Alessie is known for its Banana Pudding Matcha, made with ceremonial-grade matcha. (I tried it for first time: Watch the video to see my reaction!)
All the sauces here are made fresh in-house. Alessie serves matcha, coffee and small bites, including tasty options like blueberry toast, pear ricotta toast, and look how fresh the avocado toast is! Loved the quinoa on top!
