Rooftop Cinema Club Embarcadero is expanding its lineup for the summer season and beyond.
Effective now, the outdoor cinema will be showing films seven days a week, with nearly 100 films slated to screen in the coming weeks.
This year marked the first time San Diego’s most popular outdoor cinema stayed open year-round, though until now, the venue had just been screening films on weekends, holidays and for select special events.
The expanded lineup begins with the 2021 blockbuster Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Other popular films include Academy Award winners Oppenheimer and The Holdovers, and Academy Award nominated films like The Color Purple, Elemental, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and Barbie.
In addition to the films, Rooftop Cinema Club will be hosting a variety of special events, including movie nights with live performances, singles nights, Tuesday night social hours, and a new food and film series that combines a movie with a unique culinary experience.
Rooftop Cinema Club is located on the fourth-floor Sport Terrace of the Manchester Grand Hyatt. It offers views of the downtown San Diego skyline, lawn and table games, concessions and an adult beverage menu.
