The 13th annual “Kids Free San Diego” program is back for the month of October. Families can take advantage of Kids Free deals at participating local attractions, hotels and restaurants.

“October is the best time to be a kid in San Diego, and parents love it, too,” San Diego Tourism Authority President and CEO Julie Coker says. “As families look for ways to make the most of their hard-earned dollars, San Diego Kids Free is a great way to create lasting memories without breaking the bank.”

Here are some downtown San Diego highlights of the 31-day program:

The San Diego Zoo is offering free admission to kids 11 years old and younger when accompanied by a paying adult. It’s a chance to see Panda Ridge, and its world-famous residents Xin Bao and Yun Chaun.

At the Westin Gaslamp Quarter, families can book a family package that includes free kids meals at Bronze Bird, a 25% discount on a second room and a Flagship 1-hour harbor tour and kayak or stand-up paddleboard rental.

The Fish Market is giving families a free kids meal with each purchase of an adult meal for children 10 and under. To get the deal, the secret code word is: FISHFREE.
