The Bubble Pop Up event in East Village got its start as “a a way to give back to businesses and the community for taking care of us during COVID,” says founder Jeana Wallace, an East Village resident and president of Regency West Insurance Services Inc.
The casual, family-friendly get-together at Fault Line Park (1433 Island Avenue) is scheduled for 3-5 p.m. on Sunday, July 14.
Participants bring all sizes of bubble-making wands. Feel free to join in, or come and watch the laughs that ensue when people feel motivated to chase down giant bubbles with the intent to pop them.
On the list of what to bring: rope bubble wands, lawn chairs, water, sunscreen, hand sanitizer and a great attitude. Bubble solution will be provided.
Don’t bring: alcohol, glassware or anything illegal.
The Bubble Pop Up after party will be held at nearby The Lost Abbey (1313 J Street) starting at 5 p.m.
