Own or run a company in downtown San Diego? The San Diego Sun is looking for people with interesting stories to tell about being a 92101-based business.
Over the past two-plus years, we’ve featured more than 50 personality profiles of downtown residents in a “Living In The City” series.
A new title tells the story–we’re shifting the focus to “Working In The City.” But we still want people stories.
You can nominate yourself, or your own boss or manager. Or, recommend your favorite establishment (contact information helps). It can be a restaurant, a mom-and-pop shop, a specialty store or something more.
The owners don’t have to live downtown, but the company must be located in the 92101 ZIP Code. It has to have a storefront in one of downtown’s neighborhoods: The Gaslamp Quarter, Little Italy, Cortez Hill, East Village, Core-Columbia or The Marina District.
Working In The City will be an editorial series. It’s not pay-to-play. Companies will get a free spotlight–but you have to give readers interesting, insider deets about your business.
Make us laugh. Teach us something. Spill the tea. Tell us what makes you different and special and let readers know why they should pop in when they’re in your neck of downtown.
An email box is open and an editor is standing by. If you have a question or want to make a nomination, send it to: rondonoho@gmail.com. SDSun
