The San Diego County Department of Animal Services is hoping to find loving homes for some of its many pets during the holiday season of Valentine’s Day.
As part of the department’s “You Make My Heart Spin” campaign, all adoptions are $20 or less.
This could be a great opportunity to receive a furry (or scaly) friend for life. There are many different pets available for adoption, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, pigs and turtles.
Each pet has been through a health check and vaccination. All adoptions include spaying or neutering, a microchip, updated vaccinations and a one-year dog license.
If you’re unable to adopt, fostering is also available.
The San Diego County Animal Services also offers free microchips and other pet supplies to those who may be unable to afford adoption. If you’re interested in adopting a pet during the Valentine’s Day campaign, you can visit the Animal Services website for more information. SDSun
