Downtown San Diego’s signature music festival seems to be finding it’s groove.

The Wonderfront Music & Arts Festival will be back in 2025 for a three-day run from May 16 to 18, and early-bird tickets will be available online starting Friday, November 22.

The festival takes place on multiple downtown bayfront venues, including Embarcadero Marina Park North, Seaport Village and Ruocco Park.

Musical headliners at last year’s festival included Beck, The Roots, Weezer, Kaytranda, T-Pain and Steel Pulse. More than 80 artists played on seven different stages.

Close to 40,000 tickets were sold in 2024, according to published reports. That was a positive step forward for the festival, which debuted in 2019 but had to had to press pause in 2020 and ’21 due to the pandemic.

Wonderfront returned in 2022, featuring headliners Gwen Stefani, Zac Brown Band and Kings of Leon. Organizers decided to skip 2023 as part of a plan to move the concert dates from November to May.

This year’s festival experience will include: limo boat rides, main stage VIP lounges, after parties around downtown, new entrances and will-call lines; and early-bird pricing.

The pricing levels for early-bird, three-day ticketing are: general admission ($350); the new general admission-plus plan ($575); and VIP ($799).
