The Holiday Bowl’s downtown parade drew tens of thousands of onlookers on Friday, December 27. The morning event preceded the annual Holiday Bowl college football game, held for the first time this year at Snapdragon Stadium in Mission Valley. The 2024 Parade Grand Marshall was professional competitive eater Joey Chestnut. He also holds the title of “Chief Eggnog Official,” and will oversee the bowl game’s second annual celebratory “eggnog dump” on the winning coach.
