Comic-Con veterans have seen the spectacle summer after summer. More than 130,000 attendees of the world-famous, comic-book-turned-superhero homage make the trek into downtown San Diego for four days of make-believe reality.
From July 24-27, Fifth Avenue in front of the San Diego Convention Center will be transformed into the people-watching center of the galaxy. Cosplay is the name of the game. There’s a codependence between those who dress up as fantasy folk from all the platforms and the onlookers who want to capture cell phone memories.
