The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park has become a off-the-charts hit as a downtown San Diego spot for music concerts. The world-class, outdoor music venue just released it’s schedule for 2024, with tickets on sale now.

Along with being the official outdoor venue for the San Diego Symphony, The Shell is set to host artists such as John Legend, Jason Mraz, Jewel, Melisa Etheridge, Gipsy Kings, The Beach Boys and dozens of up-and-comers and iconic musicians.

Opened in 2021, The Shell cost $85 million in a public-private funding campaign. It’s built on a 3.6-acre grassy plot of land on Embarcadero Marina Park South. It’s surrounded by the San Diego Convention Center and the San Diego Bay, with Coronado just on the other side of the channel.

This year, more than half of the scheduled acts are playing The Shell for the first time.
