As the the name implies, there were plenty of tacos (and other traditional Mexican food) on hand for the SoCal Taco Fest held at Waterfront Park in Little Italy on April 29, 2023.
The food was complementary to activities you don’t get to see often in downtown San Diego: Chihuahua races and live Luche Libra wrestling matches.
Yes, there was a Margarita Dance Cantina. And Kool & the Gang was there to “Get Down On It” as part of a a revved-up line up of musical acts. The festivities ran until 10 a.m. at the park
