Downtown San Diego gets lit as the family holiday spirit catches hold at Piazza della Famiglia

Downtown San Diego’s Little Italy neighborhood got festive with its annual Tree Lighting & Christmas Village event on December 2, 2023. The featured event was the traditional Italian tree lighting of a 25-foot tree at Piazza della Famiglia. The evening included live music, entertainment, holiday treats and photos with Santa.
