The 27th annual Taste of Gaslamp was finger-lickin’ good. Hundreds of patrons filled downtown San Diego’s entertainment district to nosh and nibble on samples from two dozen participating eateries on September 9, 2023.
Bite-sized samples included: 16-hour, slow-smoked brisket from Smokin’ J’s BBQ; mini Wagyu meatballs from LAVO; platanos maduros and ropa vieja from Havana 1920; Moscow mules from American Junkie; and a dessert cup of strawberry cheesecake from Cali Cream Ice Cream.
The Taste of Gaslamp After-Party at Johnny WAHOO! Golf Bar packed in foodies who didn’t want to go home after the event.
