San Diego’s 44th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival kicked off on March 14 near Balboa Park amid sunny skies and Irish eyes a-smilin’. The theme of the 2026 event: “Here, There, Irish Culture Everywhere!” The San Diego Sun Photographer (and Irishman-for-a-Day) Sal Giametta was on hand to snap the parading lads and lasses.
