FACES & PLACES: San Diego Pride Parade 2022

A celebration (in portraiture) of the participants out marching proudly and in support of our LGBTQ community

The most colorful, dazzling, and publicly inclusive event in San Diego Pride Week streamed full force through Hillcrest on Saturday, July 16, 2022.

Event organizers say the 2019 pre-pandemic San Diego Pride Parade and Festival attracted more than 350,000 attendees.

That number will likely be matched or exceeded this weekend.

The parade ended at Laurel Street, at the entrance to the Pride Festival.

The two-day festival features more than 100 LGBTQ entertainers, as well as headliners Ashnikko, Baby Tate, Daya and Snow Tha Product.
