Chill Out At The Inaugural “Anchored In Wellness” Festival At Liberty Station

A one-stop-shopping, self-care event for personal mindfulness, movement and maybe even an ice bath
A Soul Plunge ice bath, available at the Anchored In Wellness festival.

Liberty Station is kicking off a brand-new festival called Anchored in Wellness. The Saturday, June 29 (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.) event at Ingram Plaza will offer a potpourri of self-care activities.

To get the most out of the festival you might want to bring a bathing suit and try out a chilly ice bath.

The ice baths will be offered by Soul Plunge in an area within the festival grounds filled with all manner of vendor booths.

There will be an area dedicated to “mindfulness,” including meditation, breathwork and sound bath. (Not to be confused with an ice bath, a sound bath is where participants are “bathed” in sound waves.)

An area dedicated to “movement” will offer Pilates, yoga and boot camp classes.

After mindfulness and movement activities are completed, attendees can chillax and compare ice bath stories at a wine-and-beer garden.

The day’s events will take place rain or shine. Tickets are $30. For more information, go to Anchored in Wellness. SDSun
